Famed animal trainer Randy Miller goes down in history as receiving the first ever World Stunt Academy Award for his tiger attack work when he was the stunt double for Russell Crowe in the spectacular movie "Gladiator".   Now he is once again showing his amazing talents as the stunt double for Will Ferrell in the brand new movie "Semi-Pro" that is currently at the box office.  Randy's grizzly bear Rocky, who stands seven feet tall and weighs nearly 700 pounds, makes his debut in "Semi-Pro" as Dewey the Killer Bear in an outrageous wrestling scene with Will Ferrell's character, Jackie Moon. Randy and Rocky were assisted on the set by trainers Crystal Sheldon and Joel Almquist. Randy began his career back in the 1980's when, along with his father Alan, he co-founded the major soft-drink company called New York Seltzer.  He now owns Predators in Action and works with his lions, tigers, leopards, cougars and grizzly bears for films, TV, and live magic shows around the world.  Randy is best known for his animal work in the movies "The Last Samuri", "Two Brothers" and most especially for "Gladiator", where he supplied all of the tigers and lions as well as trained them and wrestled them on the movie set.  Randy lives with his animals in the beautiful forests of Big Bear, California where he can let them run and play.  He uses affection training with all of his animals and feels that exotic cats are the most loving creatures on earth.  Cruelty training is not an option for him.  Check out Randy's entertaining website where you can see video footage of his work with the animals as well as staged attack scenes.  This amazing information can be viewed on the Predators in Action link below (www.predatorsinaction.com ).
